#1: All Praise To Allah
Lets try our sincere efforts to praise Allah the Rabb of All worlds.
Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen for allowing us to take a step toward implementing quran in our lives.
We all are aware of this phrase Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen and many of us speak it too. How do we get to know such attributes of Allah ? Who told us ? You and I as babies were not born with such wisdom.
Quran is our guidance and Allah SWT is our teacher. This ayah came from Allah SWT who wanted to teach a big lesson from this and guide us.
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
Now lets see what Allah is teaching and then jump into the task we should implement for this week inshallah.
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ Alhumdulillah : All praises for ALLAH !
I want you to notice “ALL” and give a thought before you continue. That means any good thing in this world happens to you - you got to eat that favorite biryani, you got A+, you learnt for your exams, you got job, you are pregnant, you are getting married, you are born, you got money, you can buy a car, you can walk, you can see, you got that best sale offer or deal, you are praised by people,…..any good thing!
Any good thing that happens to you all praises to Allah for making it happen!
No matter how you worked hard, and what you did to make it happen. He is the one behind it always! All praise is to Allah! He is the one who made it happen and worthy to be praised!
Alhumdulillah! Allah has taught us “Alhumdulillah” otherwise we would never be able to praise Him in the manner our Rabb wants.
Think for a moment a good episode/incident in your life. Whom do you want to praise now for that ?
رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ Rabbil alameen - Lord of the worlds!
Allah SWT is telling us that He is not the Rabb of just our world but ALL worlds - known and unknown to us. He is the Rabb of ALL of them.
Allah is the Rabb of all worlds.
Now this is how you and I can imagine Allah SWT . He is the Rabb of everyone you and I know and dont know. Everything that happens to you and I all credits and copyrights are reserved with Allah SWT. All praises to Allah !
Think for a moment a problem you are going through or went through perhaps!
Who do you think can fix or had fixed ?
Our problems, worries seems difficult or impossible to fix but Allah is the rabb of ALL worlds (world with s), He can sweep away any problem, worries, pains and sufferings in a moment. We need to just handover that bag of problems to Allah , the Rabb of ALL worlds.
Task of the week
Here comes the implementation part, after all that’s why you and I are here.
This all week you need to say “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
Simple! After all its our first week we should start with easiest to build momentum. So that when bigger tasks come from Quran we can be like the Ansars and Muhajiroon too and quickly implement inshallah.
You should feel the countless blessings in your heart along with the “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen” ! (i.e movement of lips + movement of heart)
We need to implement this ayah as an internal part of our life so that this Dhikr would become the reason for our easiness in Hereafter inshallah!
As mentioned in previous post , the tasks will not add extra todos but you and I need to do it with your daily routine tasks:
So when you start your car engine say “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
When you wake up or go to sleep say “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
Whatever you do add “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen” to it and feel the blessing and barakah that comes with it!
More Suggestions:
When you wake up say Alhumdilllahi rabbil alameen for giving me a new day!
Note it somewhere or put a wallpaper in your phone or laptop.
Speak this verse slowly slowly pondering the meanings of it in your Salah.
Whenever you are happy dont forget to say - “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
Share and talk about this verse. The more you talk and share the more you will say this verse yourself.
Sit alone and enjoy knowing the fact that Allah taught you “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
When you look at you face in mirror say “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”. Stick a note perhaps on mirror!
When you look at your paycheck say, “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”. Your paycheck day is your “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen” day.
When you look at your kids say, “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
Ponder on Allah’s blessings in your life and say “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
When you go to bed say “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen”.
When you sip water or coffee say “Alhumdulillahi rabbil alameen” for providing you and I means of satisfying thirst.
Your and mine blessings our countless so you will never be short of suggestions! Lets be sincere for the first time in our life because thats what you and I want.
See you next week with next task (ayah) inshallah!
